- Mayra Alcántara is one of the most influential voices in digital marketing, influencer marketing, publicity, public relations and communication worldwide. With over 15 years of experience, she has developed strategies for more than 25 industries across Latin America, the United States and Europe. Her expertise in leading teams specialized in strategic planning and operations has been key to establishing her as a prominent figure in the industry, particularly concerning Gen Z and Alpha generations. As a pioneer in influencer marketing, Mayra has played a fundamental role in shaping the foundations and best practices that now define this discipline. Her influence has transcended borders, with her contributions translated into more than five languages, having a global impact. Mayra has been recognized multiple times for her leadership, innovation, and contributions to digital marketing. She was twice named one of Latin America's "100 Brightest Minds in Digital Marketing." Additionally, she has been honored as one of the "58 Most Influential Women in Marketing in Latin America" and has received prestigious titles such as "Mujer de Altura" (Woman of Height) and "Mujer Fuera de Serie" (Outstanding Woman) by Líderes Mexicanos. Her work has also been acknowledged within the industry, serving as a jury member for Elle magazine’s digital awards; "DigitElle." Furthermore, Mayra is the only Latin American woman to have served on the jury of the Global Influencer Marketing Awards (United Kingdom) for three consecutive years, as well as the MENA Awards (United Arab Emirates). Most recently, she became the first Mexican speaker at the FollowMe Paris 2024 / 2024 forum, where she shared the stage with some of the most influential figures in the global influencer marketing industry. On the corporate front, in recent years, Mayra played a key role as Director of Communication, Publicity and Talent at Warner Bros. Discovery for Mexico and Central America. Her leadership and innovative vision played a key role in the launch of the Max streaming platform across Latin America, as well as in the premieres of major franchises such as House of the Dragon, And Just Like That, True Detective, The White Lotus, and the global release of Latin American productions like Como Agua Para Chocolate. She also contributed to the successful rollout of blockbuster films including Barbie, Dune: Part Two, and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, among others.
